| Though I Might Not Always Act Like A "JEM", My Husband Loves Me Enough to Have "dubbed" Me So!
Confused yet? Well, there's a few more details in between, but not enough trees in the forest to write the books I'd have to fill. I've led a very exciting, enlightening, happy, sometimes very sad, but always fulfilling life. If it weren't for my excellent upbringing and just the fact that I have a lot of busy (and tired) angels hovering around me, I don't know where else I'd be in this old world. I'm just glad to tell you I'm here, and not leaving until I've done whatever it is I've come here to do! Bryan and I have a shared philosphy of traveling to as many places as possible, to see what's over the next hill, to do no harm, to help those in need, to not get caught up in material things (we've both had our share), and just to try and help make this world a better place to live in - for everyone, no matter who, where or what you are. And the best way to do that is to be kind to each other, which we practice on a daily basis (sometimes it's not always easy, but it sure makes life sweeter).

The Reason for the Site The reason for this website is to be able to showcase some of my personal artwork, as well as some that I have published by a well known Alaskan artist, William L. Gorsline. Bryan has taken some wonderful pictures since we've moved to Astoria, Oregon, as well as some that were taken while we lived in Hawley, Pennsylvania. We both have shops that you'll find links to where you can buy items with my black & white scratchboard artwork as well as Bryan's photography. You'll also find places where you can buy my unframed scratchboard reproductions and pay for them with PayPal. It makes it easy to purchase by credit/debit card, check or money order. We're notified as soon as payment is received and cleared, then the items are sent directly to you. So be sure and check out all the pages, links (some of them go to other sites we've created), and just take a "look see". Also be sure to check back often, as it seems like we've changed this site umpteen times since we started. And if you bookmark it, make sure you hit "refresh" to see anything new that we may have added (or deleted). Other Things I Like to Do As you can see by the picture in the upper right hand corner, I also play piano/keyboards. I had the priveledge of teaching 24 students while living in Pennsylvania, from ages 5 to 60. It was something I'd never done before, a real challenge, as well as a real joy! Bryan plays classical guitar, and with our friend, Teri Santitoro, we played for several local Senior Centers while living in Pennsylvania. It was a lot of fun, another challenge, and very much appreciated by all our audiences. Bryan and I also played during the Christmas Season in 2001 at Rose Bank Winery in Bucks County (where the picture was taken). It was one of the original farmhouses that William Penn willed to his daughters. I'm thankful for all these experiences as it has given me the confidence to play for others, like I have never done before. It's also given me the ability to sit down and actually play from my heart, and not just by reading music. I guess art and music, as well as writing, are my tools that I use in order to communicate my emotion to others. I hope to be able to pass those tools onto others who feel frustrated when it comes to communicating in this world of mass confusion...which to me, is not always true communication.
